  • ⅛ cup almonds (raw)
  • 1 cup water (for soaking)
  • 4 cups water (preferably filtered)
  1. Place the almonds with one cup of water in a glass or stainless steel bowl. Soak for at least 8 hours.
  2. Drain and rinse soaked almonds, place into the Vitamix blending container.
  3. Add 4 cups of filtered water and blend on highest speed for at least 1 minute.
  4. Place a nut bag or filtering bag over a large bowl. Pour almond milk slowly into filtration bag and allow the milk to filter through. You can use a spatula to stir the milk encouraging it to filter quicker.
