Apple Pie Oats

  • ¼ cup oatmeal, steel cut
  • ⅓ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • a pinch THM Himalayan High Mineral Salt
  • 1 tablespoon THM Integral Collagen
  • ⅓ cup fat free Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup apple, raw (chopped with skin)
  • ½ teaspoon raisins, seedless (aproximately 3 raisins, chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon low carb brown sugar
  • ⅛ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/16 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/16 teaspoon nutmeg (freshly grated)
  1. Start with a clean jar and lid. Add 1½ cups of water to your Instant Pot liner and insert the trivet/rack.
  2. In each jar add your oats, pinch of mineral salt then your almond milk. If using THM Collagen whisk vigorously with a fork. Don't worry if you have small clumps. Next add your Greek yogurt and spread out gently.
  3. Top with the ½ cup chopped apple, chopped raisins, low carb brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon and nutmeg. Place lid and jar ring on the jar - loosely tighten ring, it should wiggle.
  4. Place completed oat mixture in the Instant Pot. Lock lid, set to sealing. Hit the Rice button which is an automatic programmed time of 12 minutes high pressure. NPR 2 minutes, then release the pressure.
  5. Carefully remove the jars with a silicone pot holder or canning jar lift. Wipe the hot water of the jar and carefully remove the ring and lid. Stir and serve.
