Vitamix Cashew Milk – THM S
Vitamix Cashew Milk is so easy to make! All you need are raw cashews and water, preferably filtered. It will keep in the refrigerator 5 to 7 days. In addition, making smaller batches of cashew milk saves on your budget if you are a small family.
This is another great nut milk to use in the THM Vitamix Blender Challenge 2020 which will run for four weeks starting January 6 and will run until Jan 31st. Sunflower Lecithin, Another Super Food
Sunflower Lecithin is a group of phospholipids found in certain food and within your body. Surprisingly, your brain is 30 percent lecithin and sunflower lecithin will help nourish your brain. In addition, it can help improve memory, can help combat learning disabilities and helps to promote a longer attention span. You can read more about the wonderful healing properties of sunflower lecithin in the Trim Healthy Mama plan book on pages 159-160. Also, sunflower lecithin is an emulsifier; it helps to prevent your nut milk from separating.

- 1 cup (100 g) cashews
- 3 cups water (filtered)
- 1/32 teaspoon (15 g) THM Sunflower Lecithin (optional)
- Place cashews and sunflower lecithin into the 64 ounce Vitamix container; add water.
- Turn on blender, gradually turn blender speed up to variable speed ten. Blend for 50 to 60 seconds or until it reaches your desired consistency and nuts are liquefied.
- Pour into a clean glass container, store in the refrigerator from 5 to 7 days. Shake very well before serving.
